Day Nursery operates
seven Indianapolis-area
child care centers that provide quality care daily to more than 750
children (infant to six years old). Their parents are employed or
students, and scholarships are available based on family income.

A variety of sources fund Day Nursery's programs:
parent fees, CCDF (Title XX), Child and Adult Care Food Program, Step
Ahead councils, United Way, foundation and corporate grants, and
contributions from individual supporters including the Day Nursery
Auxiliary and the Day Nursery Foundation.
Day Nursery revenue varies from year to year.
However, the sources and percentage of the total budget for each source
are fairly consistent from year to year. Current information is printed in
Day Nursery's Annual Report.
The programs and services of Day Nursery are
funded by various public and private sources. In 2005, our support came
from:
